'Who is that crazy character running around the stage full of energy?! That's a crazy top hat... and what a funky suit!'
Did Russell Sprout really go karate kicking imaginary bad guys across the stage in a long green cape? Singing about Superheros? The Russell Sprout concert had so much rhythm and movement, it's a melodic whirl with a light show and fog... so cool! The electric guitar wailed! the banjitar plucked, the bass thumped and the drum kit was alive with rhythm. The songs are a fun combination of many styles of music. From folk to rock to country to blues to reggae to electronic, sometimes it is pure improvisation. The themes range from a silly ditty about gross behavior to the seriousness of protecting the environment. You never know what Russell Sprout will pull out of his hat...and such a weird hat it is! I want to eat one of them!

A Tricky Doodle
In the song Funky Doodle there are very tricky lyrics. Try singing this as fast as you can.
Cover it in chocolate sauce and add a soggy noodle.
Cover it in candy floss and call it a funky doodle.
Russell Sprout's debut album is out now on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and more!
